We'd like to introduce you to our sponsor and teammate Dr. Thomas Hofmann, the CEO and Founder of QRumpharma, Inc. based in Doylestown, PA. We know our neighbor Thomas primarily as an avid cyclist, a fan of pro cycling, family man, and a VW camper van enthusiast. However, the rest of the world knows Thomas as a leading pulmonologist and medical researcher in the field of treating severe lung diseases such as tuberculosis, COPD, and asthma. In 2015, he was recognized for his work in the field of Cystic Fibrosis medical research and care with the prestigious Dr. Milton Graub Award by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

When Thomas isn't residing here in Doylestown, he is fond of visiting his family and friends in Unter-Seibertenrod, Hessen, Germany where he maintains his grandparents home. Some of us have had the great privilege of joining him in traveling to this beautiful area in Central Germany and enjoying the amazing hospitality of the village. In addition to first class cycling in the Vogelsberg mountains, the area boasts beautiful German rural village architecture, medieval castles, and my favorites .... German cuisine and pilsner.

QRumpharma is pronounced "Quorum-pharma" and refers to quorum-sensing, which is a function of bacteria colonies which can work together to achieve success greater than they could individually. Certainly, this is a mission statement that our cycling athletes share in a profound understanding. Thank you Dr. Thomas Hofmann of QRumpharma for believing and supporting our team's mission of growing the participation and diversity of local athletes participating in the grand sport of cycling.
